Price Case

One product, as one factory would quote it. Three to five verified factory quotes on the factory's own paper, a landed-cost table, and a one-page note you can hand to your supplier.

What you receive
  • Three to five verified quotesOn the factory's own paper: licence, date, minimum order, validity
  • A landed-cost tableYour port, your current country and one alternative, at the duties in force
  • A one-page noteWritten for you to hand to your supplier as it is

You name one product and give us the specification you buy today. We get three to five quotes for it from factories that make it, each on the factory's own paper with its licence, the date, the minimum order and the validity, and we confirm that each is the maker and not a trading company. We price every quote landed at your port, next to the same product from one other country, at the duties in force since July 2026. You get the quotes, the landed-cost table, and a one-page note you can hand to the supplier you have. If no verified maker quote lands below your current price, the fee is refunded in full.

What you get

Three to five verified factory quotes on the factory's own paper, with licence, date, minimum order and validity; a landed-cost table for your current country and one alternative, at the duties in force; and a one-page note for your supplier. Factory names and contacts are in the deliverable.

What this is not for

A product that needs new tooling or engineering before a factory can quote it.

What this answers
  • What do factories that make this product quote for it today, on their own paper?
  • What does each quote cost landed at your port, with freight, insurance and the duty in force?
  • What would the same product cost landed from one other country?
  • What can you take to your current supplier, on one page?
How we do it
  1. We write the specification the way a factory quotes it: material, size, grade or standard, packing, order quantity, delivery terms and port. Factories quote the same thing, so the quotes compare.
  2. We ask factories that make the product, reached through our own contacts and through the customs record. Each quote is on the factory's own paper and carries its business licence, the date, the minimum order and the validity. We confirm the maker from the licence and the record. A quote from a trading company is excluded or marked.
  3. Each quote is priced landed at your port: factory price, ocean freight at the published index rate on the date, insurance, and the duty in force for the product code and the country of origin. The same table shows one alternative country.
  4. The note is one page: your current price, the verified quotes, the landed gap, and what to ask your supplier for. It is written for you to hand over as it is.

Common questions

What does "verified" mean here?

The quote is on the factory's own paper, carries its business licence, a date, a minimum order and a validity period, and we have confirmed from the licence and the customs record that the quoting company makes the product rather than trades it.

What if nobody quotes below my price?

If no verified maker quote lands below your current price, the fee is refunded in full. You keep the quotes and the landed-cost table.

Do I have to switch supplier?

No. Most buyers hand the note to the supplier they have. If you want to move, the work that follows is quoted as custom work.

Which products?

Almost any product made in Asia that a factory can quote from a specification. Products that need new tooling or engineering before they can be quoted are not a price case.

Does the alternative country have to be in Asia?

The alternative is one of China, India, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia or Malaysia, chosen with you from the duty in force on your product.
