Three ways to work with us

The first is free and comes first.

Free price check

Free

You send us one product you buy from Asia. Within two business days we show you, on a short call, the range factories ask today for a product like it. It is a check of the market, from published factory prices and from quotes we hold. It is not yet a quote for your exact specification.

  • One product, of any kind
  • Nothing to pay and nothing to sign
  • Your prices stay with us
Getting your price down

$4,000, then a share of what you save

We get real quotes for your exact product from factories we have checked, landed at your port, and we negotiate. You can move to a new factory, or use the quotes to bring down the price of the supplier you have. The $4,000 is paid when we start. After that you pay only out of what you save: 25% in the first year and 10% in the second. The share is the same whether the lower price comes from a new factory or from the supplier you have. After the second year the whole saving is yours.

  • Quotes for your exact product, from checked factories
  • The saving is counted from your own invoices
  • You buy from the factory and pay it yourself
A day of advice

$1,200 a day

Your team runs the buying and wants our time on one question: a quote to check before a deposit, a factory to look into, a price increase to answer, a negotiation to plan. We tell you on the first call how many days it will likely take.

  • Eight hours of work on your product
  • One day is the smallest booking
  • A report of what we found
An example

A product you buy for $400,000 a year

  1. We get the price down by 10%You save $40,000 a year.
  2. Year oneYou pay $4,000 to start and 25% of the saving, $10,000: $14,000 in all. You keep $26,000.
  3. Year twoYou pay 10% of the saving, which is $4,000. You keep $36,000.
  4. After thatYou pay nothing. The $40,000 a year is yours.

The figures are the same whether the lower price comes from a new factory or from your current supplier. Round numbers, to show the arithmetic. This is an example, not a typical result.

You keep Fee to start
Year one
You keep $26,000. Our share $10,000. Fee to start $4,000.
Year two
You keep $36,000. Our share $4,000.
After that
You keep $40,000 a year.
How a saving is counted
  • The starting price is what you pay today. It comes from your own invoices and we agree it before we begin
  • The saving is that price minus the price you pay afterwards, on the units you actually buy
  • The first year is the twelve months from your first order at the lower price. The second year is the twelve months after that
  • It counts whether the lower price comes from a new factory or from the supplier you already have, and our share is the same in both cases
  • We invoice our share when you place each order. Nothing is billed on a forecast
  • If you decide not to act on what we find, you have paid the $4,000 and owe nothing more
When the saving is tariff

Sometimes the saving is in the duty: the same product made in another country enters your market at a lower rate. Duty is set by governments, not by us, so we take no share of it. For that work we quote one fixed fee before we start, and your customs broker confirms the duty treatment before you order.

Who pays us

You do, and nobody else. No factory pays Hielux, and we add nothing to a quote. You pay the factory yourself and you see every factory quote.

How it starts

  3. 03You decide

whether the gap is worth going after. If it is, one page sets out the work and the fee.

Questions about pricing

What does the free price check show?

What factories ask today for a product like yours, from published prices and from quotes we hold. It tells you whether there is a gap worth going after. It is not a quote for your exact specification. That comes when we work on getting your price down.

What does the $4,000 pay for?

The work of finding and checking the factories and getting real quotes for your exact product, landed at your port. It is paid when we start. It is not refunded, and it is not taken off the share.

What counts as a saving?

The price you pay today, from your own invoices, minus the price you pay afterwards, on the units you actually buy. We agree the starting price with you before any work begins.

What if my current supplier lowers its price?

Then the saving counts, and you keep your supplier. Our share is the same as for a new factory: 25% in the first year and 10% in the second.

What if you find nothing?

Then we tell you your price is fair. You have paid the $4,000 for the work, and you owe nothing more.

When do I pay the share?

When you place each order at the lower price. We invoice our share of that order's saving. Nothing is billed on a forecast.

What can I use a day for?

Whatever your buying needs: a quote checked before you pay a deposit, a factory looked into, certificates and test reports read, a price increase answered, a negotiation planned. These are examples, not the full list.

How do I pay?

By bank transfer, in US dollars. The $4,000 and the day are paid before the work starts. The share is invoiced with each order. If a job needs something from a third party, such as samples, a lab test or an inspection, the provider bills you directly.

Do you charge for the first call?

No, and not for the price check either.
